[FIXED] Layout for message template editing
August 19, 2014, 03:00:21 am
Thought I'd take a look at the message template editing in 4.5beta6 as I'm using this currently on live project with 4.4.6.

I like the new drop-down menu listing presentation for the tokens - this looks better than the current approach. I've yet to test it out to see if works better.

What I did notice in Firefox on MacOSX is that page layout is a bit out of kilter - see attached screendump. The HTML format pane shows a rather small text editing area, and in both plain text and HTML format panes the new token selector is intruding into the area. In the plain text format area the token selector is sitting on top of the textarea, whilst in the HTML format pane it is pushing the teaxtarea aside. Wondering if the token selector could sit in the dark header bar of the pane, or if it needs to be inside the pane then it should sit above the textarea with clear space between it and the textarea, and allowing the textarea to occupy the full width of the pane.

Already fixed this one. See http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,33855.0.html
New beta ought to be out sometime today and you can see it fixed.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
