Issue with Contribution Page Submission

I have a contribution page setup for payments.  I have Paypal setup as the payment gateway, but also tried Stripe just in case it was a problem with paypal, and whenever you try to process a contribution, you just get a page that loads nothing but the menu and footer.  I have looked at everything that I can to see if I can fix this, and have been unsuccessful by myself.

The URL is birdgardensofnaples.org/donate

I went to the link and pressed "Contribute" without filling in any other info, and I saw the error you're referring to.

The URL that comes up on pressing "Contribute" is: https://birdgardensofnaples.org/donate/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/contribute/transact

That's malformed, so the problem is almost certainly some sort of URL rewriting problem, whether in Wordpress or Apache.

I'm not a Wordpress user, so I don't know what the correct URL is supposed to look like - but hopefully this additional information will make it obvious to the Wordpress folks who see this what the issue is!

Hmm I tried to change the default permalinks to the post ID instead of the pretty permalinks, but that didn't work either.  I must be missing something.

Might want to consider using shortcodes in WP and create the donate page that way

I would first get it working with the full url, before trying to use a shortcode etc

That page does use a shortcode, and I tried getting the direct link to work. To no avail.  I have another site on the same hosting account with the same setup that works with no problem.
