Hello everyone, I have a problem of this type, I'm on Joomla 2..5.4 I installed all but WHEN Within a New Mailing I get THIS error:

<div id="crm-container" class="crm-container" lang="en" xml:lang="en"> <style type="text/css" media="screen">@import url(/Copia/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/css/civicrm.css);</style> <style type="text/css" media="screen">@import url(/Copia/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/css/extras.css);</style> <div class="messages status no-popup"> <div class="icon red-icon alert-icon"></div> <span class="status-fatal">Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.</span> <div class="crm-section crm-error-message">The <a href="/Copia/administrator/?option=com_civicrm&amp;task=civicrm/admin/mailSettings&amp;reset=1">default mailbox</a> has not been configured. You will find <a href="http://book.civicrm.org/user/advanced-configuration/email-system-configuration/">more info in our online user and administrator guide.</a></div> <p><a href="http://www.ilmioalbumdinozze.it/Copia/administrator/" title="Main Menu">Return to home page.</a></p> </div> </div> <script language="JavaScript"> function toggle( element ) { var className = element.className; if ( className == 'crm-accordion-wrapper collapsed crm-fatal-error-details-block') { element.className = 'crm-accordion-wrapper crm-fatal-error-details-block'; } else { element.className = 'crm-accordion-wrapper collapsed crm-fatal-error-details-block'; } } </script>

The problem is contained with the error message:

Quote
default mailbox... has not been configured

Got to Administer > Communications > FROM email address

 As the message also says, see http://book.civicrm.org/user/advanced-configuration/email-system-configuration for more info.

Akinyemi,

Please don't hijack someone else's topic. Start a new topic with your problems, or better still, if this is the same problem you have already posted about at http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,33969 add this information there.

Akinyemi

Can you please start a new thread and give more background on how you have your site set up, what type of server it is on, what you did, what you expected to happen, and what did happen, etc.  At the moment, you haven't given enough information for someone to be able to help you.
