Unable to update addresses in CiviCRM 4.4.6

When we update a contact address the data is written to the table then cleared from the table. This is shown in the logs. Any ideas?

What do you mean "cleared" from the table? Tell us more technical details precisely what is happening.

If I had to guess I'd wonder if you have some custom code/hook/extension running on your site that is doing this.
CiviCRM on its own certainly would not.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

This morning I went to change something in my contact record.
I went to the Home Address and Updated the blank entries for City, Zip and Zip+4 to their corresponding values. I also Changed the "Manual GeoCode" field from True to False.

The logs showed nothing for City, Zip or Zip+4.

The Log only showed the following:
Field   Changed From   Changed To
Manual Geo Code (id: 2)   true   false

If I delete the address and re-create it. The log says the following.

Field   Changed From   Changed To
Address Location Type (id: 23)      Home
Is Address Primary? (id: 23)      true
is_billing (id: 23)      false
State (id: 23)      Georgia
Country (id: 23)      United States
Geo Code 1 (id: 23)      37.09024
Geo Code 2 (id: 23)      -95.712891
Manual Geo Code (id: 23)      false

Note that the Address, City, Zip, and Zip+4 fields are missing.

Standard generic CiviCRM.  No Addins.
