My organization wants a campaign counter, very similar to the already built-in thermometer. The difference is that we want it to display the number of donors rather than the amount of dollars raised. Has anyone else set this up before who might be willing to share? Or do you have ideas as to how I could make this work?

Interesting! Could you elaborate, please? I already use views for a few other things, but I'm not quite envisioning how this would work.

there are a number of graphing tools that supposedly work with Views data out of the box - you may need to use Aggregation in the View too.

but there is also the civivisualise project that got a boost through a GSOC project - not quite sure where that stands but easy to google ;-)
