Event Setup With Individual and Group / Table Ticket Sales
August 29, 2014, 08:59:38 pm
I have an upcoming event where we want to sell tables of 8 people. If individual tickets are $10, the table of 8 might be $100 (a different price than multiple individual tickets). If someone buys a table, I want them to be able to enter the contact info for each person that will be sitting at the table. Is there a way to setup an event and price sets or any other way to do this?

Thanks

I have done something very similar. What I did:

1) I created a priceset field labeled "buy entire table" which cost the full amount of a 8-person table.  I also created a field called "Guest at my table" for a price of $0.

2) I configured the event online registration section I checked the box "Register multiple participants?" and also added a profile to collect first name, last name, and email address

When the end-user was registering for the event, on the first page they choose "buy entire table" and filled in their personal name and email address. They also choose "8" in the "how many people are you bringing field.   Then they clicked continue. On each subsequent page they choose the pricefield called "Guest at my table" and filled in the guest's name.
