Hello,

As Wordpress will be soon released in v4.0, would it be compatible with the 4.5 version of Civicrm ?
Have any tests been already performed with this new version of the CMS ?

Please advise.

AFAIK no one has yet addressed this.
Want to try it out and see what works and what doesn't?

OK, so should not move to 4.0 if suggested by WP updates until further notice for production site.

As for testing, I'll give a try with a fresh 4.0+4.5civi install and upgrade existing 3.9.2wp+4.4.6civi up to 4.0wp and 4.5civi.

So far we only use contacts, events and custom fields so this will be a small perimeter to test, compared to the scope of functionalities covered by CiviCRM.

I'll keep you posted.

CiviCRM has pretty minimal points of contact with the CMS. If you manage to get it installed and one screen in Civi works, all the rest will work too.
The points of contact which should be tested are:
  • Do regular backend forms (including ajax popups) work? E.g. edit contact screen.
  • Do front-end profiles work?
  • Do shortcodes work?
  • Do public forms like contribution and event pages work?

Hello,

I'm testing WP4.0 with civi 4.5b9 - So far no issues.

I wanted to test changing the default language site from EN to FR and when I saved the new settings I got this error message :

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\wprc\wp-content\plugins\civicrm\civicrm\packages\PHPgettext\streams.php on line 113

Since then none of the page of civicrm are loading, I always get redirected to this error message and I'm stuck now.
Any idea where to look at ?
