CiviMail reports show open rate above 100%

I'm reviewing recent mailing reports using the "confirmed open rate". One specific mailing with a small number of recipients (36) regularly shows a confirmed open rate of over 100% - 225, 111, 188, 133, 191 etc. However, when I view the mailing specific report for that mailing, it shows 36 deliveries and only 20 tracked opens. Any ideas why the "confirmed open rate" is off by so much?

I'm still getting this problem in 4.5 - see attached screenshot. Any idea why some mailings have confirmed open rates above 100%?

I think it's probably counting multiple opens from the same recipient. If you look in the report, you can actually see who is doing the opening.

That seems likely to me - is it possible for CiviMail to only count unique opens, and not repeated ones?

yes, can you please investigate and submit a PR to only count the unique's

should be a fairly easy change
