KCFinder configuration
September 02, 2014, 01:10:26 pm
Drupal 7, CiviCRM 4.3.8 (though I've seen this with 4.4.6 as well)

Both the KCFinder configured image uploadURL and uploadDir are correct (sites/default/files) and this is the directory used by Drupal.  However, when open KCFinder via Civi the path has "/images" appended to it.

I have googled, searched for a setting and looked at the code without any luck.  Any help would be very much appreciated.

KCFinder uploads to sites/default/files/civicrm/persist/contribute/images

I don't think you can configure this - it seems to be hard-coded.

The good news is that the files that are uploaded will still be there after an upgrade assuming you follow the standard upgrade instructions.

You can configure CiviCRM display settings [under the administer menu > customise data and and screens] to use the default Drupal editor - and it gives very clear instructions on what Drupal modules it needs to work properly....

This will allow you to chose what directories users can access and in addition you may allow them to resize and delete files.

Take particular note of the interaction to use and configure pathologic...
