Scheduled Mass Mailouts not being sent - Have to be manually executed

I have noticed that Scheduled Mass Mailouts not being sent automatically (especially if I use the mandrill extension and the mandrill service) I have to go into System Settings >  Scheduled Jobs > Send Scheduled Mailings and click execute now.
This has been happening from beta 1.
Please advise on the fix for this.

have you setup the cron job to send out the mass mailings?
