Contact editing shared address
September 08, 2014, 03:14:19 pm
I use Households as the holder of the address and then add individuals to that household and share the household address with the individual. I also permission the individual to be able to edit the household.

My question is this, if I set up a profile for a contact to edit their info and that profile has first name, last name, address, city, state, zip. Will it pull the shared household address into the profile and allow them to edit it or will it create a new address for that individual on their contact record?

I think the best way to find out the answer to this is to try it and see what happens :)

(and once you know what happens, let us know if you think it is misbehaving, there are bugs, unintended side effects, etc.)

Tried it and no it doesn't. I worked around it by separating the information into two profiles. well the household stuff is a webform.
