Permissioned Relationships on Contact Dashboard
September 11, 2014, 10:31:57 pm
I'm running 4.5.9 and I can't get civi to show the "Your Contacts/Organizations" on the Contact Dashboard.

I get a JSON error and looking at the response it's a access denied error. I've tried every combination of permissions in Drupal and can't figure out what to do.

Can someone tell me what permissions I need to set in Drupal to allow a user to see their Contacts/Organizations on their Contact Dashboard?

I finally got it to work by enabling the following permissions for authenticated users.

CiviCRM: view my contact
CiviCRM: edit my contact
CiviCRM: access CiviCRM
and of course CiviCRM: access Contact Dashboard

But enabling access CiviCRM makes the civiMenu show up at the top and I don't want that showing for regular users.  Any other way to do it?

I'm getting this same error and using the permissions above it does stop it. But is there a way to do this without giving them CiviCRM: access CiviCRM permission?
