Download Error file when some records have blank names - the files are huge

Hi - if I import a file that has some records with no First or Last names (eg The Principal of a School) the Error report I get at the end, which may only be informing of 4 rows where this has occured, is several MBs in size and includes links to records that do have First and Last names (hundreds and thousands of them).

Is there a tweak required in the error reporting?

I wasn't able to replicate on my machine.

Can you replicate this on demo?
If yes, attach the sample file.

whats the contact matching rule in this case? is it just first + last name?

if so, a no-name record matches everyone in the db with a name since a null value is not checked against. this is a edge case and can be construed as a bug. i suspect our new style of dedupe might get rid of the issue

wanna reproduce this on demo, attach a small file and file an issue. that way we can check and ensure it does not happen in 2.1

it was first+last+city  :P (and ps just tested first+last+phone and that seems good)

done - upload file (only one contact) was oddbodbed.csv - sure you will find the error file which displays some of what I observed - note that with more imports I got the Row2 with hundreds of contacts, but then in Rows 3 onwards I only had one record per row.

Try oddbodbed2.csv though that still seems to have each in its row unlike the file attached (snipped from a 2.2MB 33,000 row table) but that behaviour may just be due to a limit on how many lines it allows within a cell
