I want to add a additional column (contacts organisation aka. current employer) to the participant search result list (/civicrm/event/search). A few years ago you recommended to use the hook "hook_civicrm_searchColumns" (http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,21404.msg89713.html#msg89713). Is this still the best way to go or is there an easier solution available? This is not customisable via profiles, isn't it?
