Best way to call contribution goal and total to date?

Hi,

I want to be able to pull the contribution goal for a campaign, as well as the total received towards that campaign into variables I can use in an HTML page.

I imagine the best way to do this would be to use the API, but having stared at the different available APIs for a couple hours, I'm left unsure which would do the trick!

Any pointer would be greatly appreciated.

i dont think there are extensive campaign based api's available as yet. So u might need to add some and/or see what you can do with contribution apis

Thanks Donald,

I did look at the contributions APIs, nothing grabbed me as a possible way to do it. Urgh.

You might also want to investigate civivisualize. That was a GSOC project (following on from work done by Xavier from TTTP) - I don't know exactly how far it goes in that direction but it seems like it might help
