Creating multiple personal campaign pages

I am using Civi for a school that needs individual sponsorships for students. I have created a directory of those students and need a link from the directory to allow contributions that are linked to (or at least reference) the individual students. My idea is to create a PCP for each student (100+). Does this sound like the way to go and if so, what is the best way to accomplish it? I also thought of 100+ contribution pages....which may prove simpler.
