Convert "tag" into "Group"

Hello – I was wondering if there is a way to easily convert a "tag" (and associated members) into a new Group; and relatedly, how to convert a Group (and associated members) into a Tag. If there is any way to do either in quick, efficient manner that doesn't involve manually going through each Contact Record, please let me know. Your help is truly appreciated!

1) Do a contact search.
2) Select all search results; select action "Add contacts to group"
3) Select "create new group" and give it the same name as your tag (or a different name).
4) Delete the tag.

(tweaked)
For changing contacts with a Tag in to a Group
1) Do a contact search for the Tag you want to change
2) Select all search results; select action "Add contacts to group"
3) Select "create new group" and give it the same name as your tag (or a different name).
4) Delete the tag.

Oh right, forgot that little detail. Thanks Pete :)
BTW it's basically the same steps for converting a group to a tag. Just swap the word "tag" for "group" and vice-versa in the instructions.
