Hi,

While I await word on how to get my events to actually show up on CiviEvents views, I'd like to know how to change the way those views display the headings for the various calendars (month, week, day, etc.). For example, at the top of the month display, where it should just say "September" to identify the calendar, instead it displays "Monday, September 1, 2014." The next month displays "Wednesday, October 1, 2014." instead of simply "October"

Is there a setting somewhere for this or might I be able to edit a template or other file to correct the situation?

I think this is a pure Views question so you might get a better answer over there. Or probably at /project/calendar

I have same on a non-civi Views Calendar

I assume it was coming in via the Header but no such evidence - also looked at 'pager' but nothing leaps out though i suspect that is involved

"This pager works together with a Date or Content date field contextual filter. If a Date filter has been added to the view, this pager will provide back/next paging to match the granularity of that filter (i.e. paging by year, month, week, or day). The filter must also be configured to use a DATE default value. If there is no Date contextual filter on this view, or if it has not been set to use a default date, the pager will not appear."

i was about to say upgrade to dev of Calendar

but maybe it is Date

Thanks. Updating to the dev version Date 7.x-2.9-alpha2 from the stable Date 7.x-2.8 fixed the issue.
