Does this happen even if you try to import only one record?  It could be good to separate out whether the problem is in the data or not.

The backtrace lines 3 and 4 seem to suggest it's trying to import a column called "label\n".  The "\n" indicates a new line.  That whole section ("\n                        SELECT v.label\n" is pretty shady.  Can you share the CSV you're using?  And please confirm this is Civi 4.5?

Thanks,
Jon

That sounds like a bug then!  This is a pretty large number of columns to import - so my thinking is that either a) the bug is with importing a specific column, or b) importing is just totally broken.

Are you able to import with just a few columns?  If you can narrow it down to a column (or columns), and can replicate the problem on the demo server, then I'd open a bug on issues.civicrm.org listing the steps to take to replicate the problem.  This would be considered a regression (i.e. something that worked in 4.4 is broken in 4.5) and those are getting top priority.

Of course, if importing is totally broken, that's also bug-worthy!

I'm guessing a particular column is problematic

actually i think this isn't related to the import per se - but a corrupted bit of data on some of the contacts - in my example we were not touching the affected field, but i figured that actually the contacts involved could not be 'viewed' without generating an error like the above.

in my case was /sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Utils/Type.php(362): CRM_Core_Error::fatal("One of parameters  (value: Array) is not of the type Integer")

which didn't help, but by luck i spotted that some contacts who were affected had 'array' in the Communication Preferences field, not sure how, but removing that via db sorted the problem.
