When creating events using event template, start date saves as current date
September 25, 2014, 10:33:29 am
I'm absolutely baffled by this.

When new events are created, the Start Date saves correctly.

Wen Event Templates are used (as there are a lot of recurring events for this particular project), it seems the created (current) date is injected into the "Start Date" field even when the date picker is used to set a new date, or the date is manually typed in.

CiviCRM 4.4.4 + Drupal 7 Integration.

Browsers tested: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer

Any insights would be appreciated.
I am comfortable with SQL operations.

Okay, after some further testing -- I am suspecting that the Drupal Calendar view is displaying Event Templates as actual events when an event is created from a template. Has anyone experienced this before/have a fix?

Note that 4.4.7 is the only secure version of 4.4 - there are minimal DB changes between 4.4.4 & 4.4.7 & over 100 bug fixes so you should get onto 4.4.7 (or 4.5 if you prefer)
