Unable to expand Address Field when creating new Individual Contact

Hi There,

I've installed CiviCRM successfully using Bitnami Drupal 7 on a Linux machine running Ubuntu 14.04.

It works fine as far as I can tell when used on the machine that the database resides on. However, when accessed via another machine on the network, I've encountered a problem. When creating a new individual contact, I cannot expand the address field to complete it. It does however work on the local machine.

The browser (Firefox v.31) being used is that same on both machines, although I have tried IE and Chrome on different machines. I've also noticed that the logo to the right of the search box in the top left hand corner of the menu does not display on remote computers, but is fine on the local machine.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where the problem may lie? I've checked the permissions on the folders on the local machines and they seem ok. The problem happens regardless of whether an administrator is logged in or not.

Any help is much appreciated.

This is the same issue that others have reported, and the cause is probably incorrect path or url settings. Check under Admin -> System Settings -> Directories and  Admin -> System Settings -> Resource URLs respectively. Take care that the paths in one match up with the urls in the other.

You were correct. The URL settings did not have the correct IP address of the server.
