Case Status: Choose Case Status by opening Case (not using default)
September 29, 2014, 03:12:33 am
Is it possible to open a case including the case status of my choice, instead of always using the default case status 'Ongoing'.

E.G. Case 1 --> Case status should be 'Submitted' when opening the case
Case 2 --> Case status should be 'Intake' when opening the case.

I think this is something you specify in the configuration for each case type. This ought to be more clear once you upgrade to 4.5 (careful not to upgrade to 4.5.0 b/c of a case bug, wait for 4.5.1) since it includes a UI for case configuration and you don't have to mess with xml files.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Thanks, and yes I too am looking forward to 4.5 (4.5.1).  :D

However this customer will stay on 4.4.4 for at least 9 months or so, so I am looking on how to configure that in my XML.
I 've tried many things but none seem to work.

So if any body knows which code to use in an XML, than let me know.
