Disable hyperlinks in Drupal Views for anonymous users
October 01, 2014, 03:13:04 pm
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to completely disable hyperlinks in Drupal views when the user does not have permission to access the CiviCRM profile.

I have 2 sites with directory listings drawing from CiviCRM organization and custom fields (Drupal 6 views 2). One is behaving the way I want it and the other isn't. I've compared the 2 views and can't seem to find any differences. It's a multi-site install so all are the same version of Drupal and CiviCRM.

At http://www.endabusewi.org/gethelp/search the hyperlinks for the organization display name are only active if the user is logged in with appropriate permission. This is what I want. When staff are logged in they can get to the organization's CiviCRM profile.

At http://www.ncall.us/content/national-directory/listings the organization display names have active hyperlinks even for anonymous users who don't have permission to see the CiviCRM profiles. The link takes them to an "Access denied" page, which is appropriate but clumsy.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Vicki

Have you looked over your Drupal Permissions for all the CiviCRM settings and compared both sites?
