I looked through the forum, but didn't find an answer to my question:

We have created a profile to expose our membership to the front-end of our joomla web site.  In both the multi record list and the members detail record we have the members email (field) listed.  Is there a way to email directly from this link, i.e. like the envelope button on the Contact Summary page.

You can change the template and add a mailto: link on the email.

As for the activity form for email, not that I'm aware of.

No matter what, beware, you will have spammers harvesting these emails... around 80k per months of spam on my side, mostly from emails that have been displayed on webpages for several years ....
