Adding Images to Events - approaches?
October 13, 2014, 02:32:10 pm
I find the quality of a site increases dramatically when events have images.  The event description can have images of course, and the WYSIWYG integration works very nicely, especially with KCFInder, however often we want to attach an image to an event.  We can use the File Field, which works well, but there are some problems:
No server file management (like IMCE or KCFinder)
No ability to change / manage image sizes on the server.  The makes listing very difficult.
Upload only - slow, costly, etc.

Since civicrm already distributes https://github.com/sunhater/kcfinder - are there any suggestions how to use it?  Another approach is to use drupal / webforms, but thought a native civicrm approach might be welcome.
