Reports and Joomla
October 14, 2014, 04:15:12 pm
Greetings to all

I created the grops joomla users and roles and permissions within CiviCRM but do not understand how you can enter to see the panel reports.
I am administrator and I can see this panel (Figure 1) .. then all users who need to see this panel should be administrators .. ??
I use the joomla CMS
Explain this: some users need to enter joomla and can view reports, but can not find the configuration option.

Thanks for the help ... !!
Best regards
Marcelo

Yes, in Joomla if you want someone to see the main dashboard that you show in the screenshot, then they need to be in the Administrator or Super User group in Joomla.  Only people who can access the administrator panel can access the main administrator dashboard to Civi.

Is there any way to make reports on the frontend .. ??

Thanks a lot

Not to my knowledge (although it is possible that I am forgetting something).  Joomla has a much more strict division between administrator and front end functions then Drupal or Wordpress, so exposing many pieces of the administrator functionality to the front end just is not possible.
