D6/4.5.2 Missing email "insert Token" dropdown
October 18, 2014, 02:31:13 am
Just upgraded to 4.5.2 on Drupal 6. All seems great except none of the Insert Token dropdowns work on the New Email screens.  The help screen and all other fields/dropdowns on the page work as expected.

I've tried the normal standby's (clear templates)_c, clear caches, reset user session etc).

I'm in final stages of major event so no time to interrogate the problem but hoped someone may have a quick fix for me :-)

I'd be happy to help you debug when you get time to do so. You could start by reporting back with any errors in your browser's console, errors in the drupal logs, etc.

As I said above, you need to look in your browser's console to find out what's going on. What you're seeing is a symptom of a js crash but the cause could be just about anything.

Tried 3 different browsers, all the same result so looked at the drupal logs like you suggested.
Looks like it was a problem with the fancy Token extension.

drupal log showed:
Code: [Select]
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in fancytokens_civicrm_tokens() (regel 81 van /home/civitest/www/www/sites/all/modules/civicrm_extensions/com.pogstone.fancytokens-2.2/com.pogstone.fancytokens-2.2/fancytokens.php).
Guess I should try to figure out now if it's a conflict with something else or not as I seem to recall it worked when I first installed it..

Looks like you're using an incompatible version of fancytokens. You need version 3 to work with Civi 4.5.
