Profile HTML snippet uses relative links, not absolute
October 20, 2014, 04:05:33 am
I'm testing out embedding a profile into a separate website. The Civi install is 4.5 running on Drupal 7 and the target test site is Wordpress. When I use the generated HTML snippet to paste into the WP site, it uses relative links which I have to fix manually.

It also seems like loading the scripts and css make the test page very slow to load. And in Wordpress, they take up lots of vertical space (see screenshot). Will the form still work without the script files if I remove them?

For simple text fields, no scripts are needed so you can just get rid of them. But stuff like state/country chain-select would require jQuery and common.js at a minimum.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Ok, thanks. I took out all the scripts and it works fine.
