incorrect Bounce / on hold?
October 21, 2014, 02:51:22 am
I've noticed that a fair share of my 'on hold' contacts are in this state because of what I guess is unrelated to bounce:

This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible.

Is there a way to opt out from some 'bounce' reason that lead to incorrect 'on hold' status.?

Am seeing the same thing in my bounce report, but none of them seem to have actually been placed on hold yet. Is there something that can be done to address the issue here? The Bounce Type is listed as "Syntax." In many cases, the addresses include more than one period after the @ (ex. state.mn.us) or a hypen before it, but there are a few totally normal looking email addresses (no special characters) in the mix as well.
