CDN Tax Receipts - automate email receipt on completed donation

Using this extension: https://civicrm.org/extensions/cdn-tax-receipts

We are wondering if it is possible to automate the tax receipt generation to email a contact right after they complete a contribution form?

Currently, it appears to be a manual process to issue receipts in batches and we are hoping to cut some time by having this automated. If there are functions in civicrm or the extension code we can add calls to, a point in the right direction would be much appreciated!

I believe it was decided not to do this, because of the risk of issuing tax receipts before you really have the money.
