Recording Event Attendance
October 24, 2014, 06:03:32 am
Hello,

I'm looking for a way to have participants (in my case volunteers) be able to mark themselves as attended for specific events. Basically, I'm looking to implement a check-in process.

Here is what I am envisioning:
-The participant registers for an event.
-At the event, the participant logs into his/her Drupal account (which they each will have in this case) and is able to somehow check themselves in for an event.

I understand there is a way for an administrator to be able to mark participants in attendance, but I have been asked to make this process more autonomous.

Is this possible in Civi? Any advice is appreciated - thanks!
