CiviMail Access Control
October 26, 2014, 05:04:34 pm
I have about 2000 contacts divided up into different groups. I set up Access Control so that the group leader can log into CiviCRM and email his contacts (There are about 200 contacts in his group)  However, when logged in from the group leader account I can see previous emails that were sent from Administrators and I can run a report from the group leader account and export all 2000 email addresses that those emails were sent too.  How can I block access to previous emails sent by other groups and only allow reports to be run for emails sent by the leader's group?  This can also be seen from the Activities tab when viewing a contact.  I want all activities blocked that were created by other groups i.e. Administrators.

Thank you so much for helping me know how to resolve this.  I need to give the group leader access soon.

There currently is a make it happen for activity acl's which is definitely a step closer to what you are looking for:

https://civicrm.org/make-it-happen

Would be great if your org can help fund part of it
