i imported about 3000 names and now when i do a duplicate search , it takes a few minutes then it gives me a blank screen
any ideas?

Is there anything in your apache logs when you get the white screen?

My only other thought is that the http request is timing out so it gives you the white screen. This is a variable you can change somewhere, I think in php.ini (maybe set_time_limit) -- I am not sure. But if it is a timeout error, I think it should still write a fatal error to your apache logs.

May have nothing to do with it, but on a Mac I have found Safari to be more stable in regard to tracking the process than in Firefox. May be worth checking things in a different browser.
