Menu item types are available for displaying CiviCRM profiles, individual user dashboards, event pages and lists, contribution pages, and custom search results. Those things can all be viewed by creating a menu item in Joomla and selecting the appropriate CiviCRM item type. Other things will require some custom coding to display or some third party modules. Without that, not everything is available on the front end.

Thank you, Jeremy.

I tried add each items of Civi CRM (dashboard, distribute, ...) on the Joomla menu item. But when I click on the menu in front end the resuls is "The requested page cannot be found". I am trying to find out this error. If you know about that you could help me. Thank you so much.

I have been have similar problems.  One issue is that many of the civicrm menu items require that the event or person etc have the right options.  For instance events will not display if they are not active.  And if you have no active events the listings might not work at all.

But....
I mucked around and finally got some of these to work as menu items.  Then something happened.  Now all of my civicrm menu items just go to the default home page.
Are there still issues with Joomla and the menus?
A previous thread suggested that creating a new menu item will fix the problem. Indeed it does, for the new item. But maybe I edited a working item and it stopped again?
Any more permanent solutions to the menu in Joomla problem?
