Event Calendar
November 01, 2014, 08:59:48 am
There is an event calendar extension that looks ideal for my needs, but it isn't on the list of available extensions. I am using civicrm 4.4. Is that the problem? Do I need to downgrade to 4.1 to use the extension? Or will it be available in the future?

Thanks for the responses. (I put the problem aside for a while). This calendar looks like the best for me but I still can't get it to work. I installed the event calendar module that preceded the extension, and it works just fine but doesn't have the feature of color coding event types. I've installed the event calendar extension v 1.1 It's supposed to work with civicrm 4.4 and I'm running 4.4.5. Is that the problem? or something else??  I can change the calendar name but the calendar itself just doesn't display. I also don't know how to contact the developer.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I definitely would not downgrade to 4.1 for this (or most extensions).

4.5 has a ton of new features and a lot better usability

if your org really needs that extension, would be great if you can contact the developer and sponsor them so they can upgrade the extension to the latest version (hopefully its not too much work). Might want to also expand your forum profile and add your CMS and Civi version info

liz - also if you are using drupal (you didn't specify your cms) then Views may give you some other options
