Can't enable both ACH/EFT and Credit Card for Payment Method
November 01, 2014, 10:30:46 am
The problem:

When I enable both ACH/EFT AND Credit Card as payment methods on a Contribution page, the Payment Method radio buttons fail to display on the form. So, when a user tries to submit payment they get the error message that "Payment Method is a required field."

The background:
Using iATS for payment processor with extension installed for integration.

Have two separate "accounts", one for ACH/EFT and another one for Credit Card. I believe this is correct and the way iATS handles things.

The problem does not occur if the user is logged in. So, for awhile I thought that it was a problem on the user end because I couldn't duplicate it, but when I went incognito I discovered that, sure enough, the "Payment Method" options do not display.

The problem does not occur on Event Payment pages, just on Contribution pages. I have pages for events that require fees and when I enable both payment methods for these pages the options seem to display perfectly on the resulting form.

Anyone got any ideas?

Whoopsie! Figured it out. I needed to enable some permissions for CiviCRM Contribute for Drupal Anonymous users. should've thought of that before.
