Profile Selector not showing for contribution pages

When in Civi Admin dashboard, and I select a contribution page, the profile selectors under the "Pofiles" tab in the contribution page editor do not show: See image.

This issue is occurring at the same time as the issue described here http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,34546.0.html  (Just in case these are two related issues, and in case this helps guide to a resolution).

ps:  THis is a CiviCRM 4.5.2 installation on Wordpress 4.0.

I am having the same issue with the profile selector from the online configuration screen for Events.

The issue for us turned out to be a conflict with the mega menu functionality built into out Wordpress theme.

Thanks for the reply that led me to investigate down paths outside the civi plug in itself.  Jetpack was the culprit.

Hi Liss, how did you resolve the issue. I really need the profile (top of page) field to be back.
