Recurring Payments Issue
November 06, 2014, 03:32:53 pm
We've set up civiCRM to allow members to contribute their yearly membership in  monthly installments. For most members, recurring payments run smoothly.

But in a few cases, we find that payment confirmations aren't showing in Civi Contributions, (or the log file) but Authorize has debited the member's card. This is after a period of working successfully.

As I compare members' payment histories on Authorize and Civi, I don't see any pattern. I'm assuming that Authorize sends the confirm, but as I said, they don't appear in the log file, so I'm not sure.

Any thoughts on what's going on?

I'm trying to understand both why it's happening and if possible, find a remedy. Hoping it's due to some configuration oversight and can be corrected from within the Civi admin.

Thanks!

Today I found out that all recurring payments made on our site since I updated to 4.5.2 aren't being recorded in the contact contribution record. All recurring payments prior to my applying the update did renew the membership. We are on Joomla 2.5.27 and using PayPal.

Seems to me that this may be a core issue, not just limited to Authorize.net?

Have you had any luck on this front?  We have noticed that all new recurring contributions are not being recorded in civi since we upgraded to 4.5.2 as well.  We are using Drupal and Authorize.net.

The existing contributions seem to work still its just when someone signs up with a new one no record is created in the contribution_recur table.
