Searching by aggregate contributions in nonspecific time periods?

Any suggestions for searching for contacts who have contributed >= $500 in the course of a year? The current custom search form for aggregate contributions requires one to specify a particular year; we'd like to find donors who have given $500 during *any* year.

Not sure but I reckon the Some year but not this year (SYBUNT) report or one of the other contribution reports will give you what you need: http://d45.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/report/list?compid=2&reset=1
