AJAX problems back post 4.5.3 upgrade
November 11, 2014, 06:14:56 am
Greetings,

Previously, the upgrade to CiviCRM 4.5.1 on Drupal 6 broke AJAX look-up capabilities. Here is the thread from last time...

"Suspect Ajax (or the like) problems post 4.4.6 --> 4.5.1 upgrade"
http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,34462.msg146400.html

Post CiviCRM 4.5.3 upgrade, it is back to being broken again.

On a CiviMember's page, we can successfully view the "Summary" tab, but no others. We when we click one of the other tabs (Contributions, Memberships, etc...) the first time, we see a spinning triangle, then it disappears and no data is populated on that tab. Subsequent times we click the tab again, not even a momentary spinning triangle is shown.

Suggestions how we should proceed please. Is this an easy fix like with CiviCRM 4.5.1? Or do we need to think about roll-back possibilities?

I am thankful,

Indeed, the CiviCRM community is full of friendly, helpful people, and that's not going to change. The major problem with these forums is that someone coming along afterwards with the same problem will have a very hard time finding this thread, and if they do find it, some threads have 30+ comments spanning several pages.
SE does a better job with this - questions are easy to find, and the correct answer will always be at the top, not buried under pages of discussion.
