PDF Export White Screen on multiple exports

I'm having significant issues exporting more than on pdf at a time. I go to a white screen after some time out. I've tried bumping up memory_limit and max_execution_time to really high numbers with no success.

This problem has persisted through two upgrades of CiviCRM (4.3->4.4->4.5) and updates of my Wordpress build, php (5.4.3 now) and MySQL.

Can anyone give me any advice? This creates an enormous issue for me because my non-profit needs to generate dozens of letter from our CiviCRM reports a week. I'm completely stumped by this issue.

Are you using wkhtmltopdf or the default?

Hey guys. I switched to wkhtmltopdf and it resolved the issue. Much thanks for both of you chiming in trying to help debug.
