File Upload for Event

I need to add a field to event registration that is a file upload. We have an event that includes an ad book.  We need to allow as part of the registration to add a file in either pdf zip doc or docx file.  Any thoughts?

Unless there's some complicating factor I don't see, this is quite straightforward. Just create a new custom field for participants of type "file" and add that field to a profile on your event registration form.

Thanks.  Feel silly for not being able to figure that out.  Is there a way to limit the upload to specific file types?
