Drupal Views 2 incorrectly displays CiviCRM custom fields
November 24, 2014, 11:02:42 am
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I'll start here.

We've got a page in Drupal 6 Views 2 that displays organization contact information, mostly custom fields except for the Contact Display Name. Every so often (more and more lately, seems pretty random, sometimes more than once a day) the view breaks and it only displays the Contact Display Name. Clearing caches restores the view. I initially thought it occurred after a Drupal update but apparently this is not the case, and I don't know what triggers it.

What is really weird is that when it breaks, it displays ALL the display names from our database, completely ignoring the views filter. Definitely not a good thing. Users don't have permission to get into the contact but still, listing all names is bad.

I've tried completely reconstructing the view and still have the same problem.

Any clues?

This probably goes without saying, but Views 2 has been unsupported for years.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
