Can't set birthmonth

Hi,

I have an installation CiviCRM (latest) + Drupal 5.7.
When i add/edit a person, I can't set the birthmonth. This value is always set on January.
Is this a known issue? Does anyone else has this problem? Tips to solve this are welcome  ;)

Shouldn't be a problem.

Can you recreate this on demo?

Hi,

Yes, I can reproduce this, it happens everytime I edit or add a person.

Can you paste the demo URL of the record for which you couldn't add/edit birthmonth.

I just created one on demo:
http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=168

Works fine for me.

Hi,

I also made a test record on the demosite with no problem ...  ???

I also tried on my site and here, it doesn't work. Take a look at the screenshots below:

Is it possible it has something to do with the order of date? The demosite has month day year, while I have day month year ...

Yes - there is a known issue w/ the Date input fields not handling date formats (order of date elements) other than the US default. I think there is an issue in the queue to try and fix this in a future release (but not in 2.0 or 2.1).

If this is important to you - and you have resources to try and come up with a patch - that would be awesome.

Hi,

Thank you for the replies!

I'll take a look, but is it possible to change only the order of the date form? This way, when I look at the bithdate of a contact, I can see it right and I only have to be carefull on inserting/editing.

Try modifying the "Complete Date" format under "Date Display" in Admin CiviCRM >> Global Settings >> Date Settings.
