Hi
I am wondering if there is a way to determine or check which version of CiviCRM is running on a Joomla site . Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks

On a Drupal site Powered by CiviCRM X.X.XX appears at the bottom of every CiviCRM UI page.  Have you looked there?

On both the demo site and my 3.3 local Joomla install, it is at the bottom of a CiviCRM UI page when you are logged in to the administrator backend, just as it is on a each backend UI page in a Drupal install as I said in my first post.

Did you check there after my first post?

Hi Joanne,

I appreciate your quick response.

I did check my CIVICRM UI page but it is not showing the civicrm version but it is displaying the Joomla Version that i am using.

I will provide you screenshot of Civicrm UI Page.

If you go to /administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=manage, you can find the version of civicrm you have installed.

But to be honest, I am not sure why you couldn't find that for yourself.  I have spent about 5 hours working with Joomla in total and I found the version after less than 5 minutes specifically searching for it.
