(Solved) Upgrade to 4.5.4 fails: DB error, duplicate field

Hi. When I tried to upgrade from 4.4.6 to 4.5.4 (wordpress 4.0.1) I received an error message: Duplicate column name 'website_type_id'

A screenshot of the error is attached.

I believe I have done the upgrade process OK because I was able to successfully upgrade to 4.4.10 (and restore back to it after the upgrade failed).

Also:  In my Wordpress list of plugins I now have two instances of CiviCRM, one enabled and one disabled. I don't know if this is related to the upgrade problem. But the current system (now running at 4.4.10) seems to be working OK. There are two custom fields, otherwise AFAIK this is a fairly basic install.

Any suggestions?

Fixed.

Apparently the installer had backported CRM-9288 to the 4.4 installation; deleting the appropriate stanza in 4.5.alpha1.mysql.tpl
