Stripe with Civi 4.5 on WP?

Anyone know the readiness of Stripe with Civi 4.5 (on Wordpress specifically).

I'd love to use stripe instead of paypal, but I couldn't find a recent discussion on if it is ready for 4.5 - It doesn't come up as an available extension in my install.  Of course, I could add it manually, but I assume if it is not listed as an option, it may not be ready for active use (and I have no skills to test and fix it)

I would contact the author of that extension directly and ask them / point them here.
