"Curl is not installed" ... but I see it there!
December 01, 2014, 11:09:27 am
Hi all,

After fixing the last problem our site is running 4.5.4 OK, it seems, but there is a strange warning on the dashboard:

Quote
Curl is not installed As a result, actions like retrieving the CiviCRM news feed will fail. Talk to your server administrator or hosting company to rectify this.

But I have root on the hosting site; curl (V7.35.0) is indeed installed and working from the command lne.

Any suggestions what's up?

Is the curl php plugin activated?
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Okay, when I clicked on "refresh dashboard data" the new came through and the warning went away. That was weird.
