USB Card Swiper

We just received our first usb card reader from our payment processor for us to use with registration for our event coming up December 13, 2014. While the instructions are very informative about what the reader can do, it lacks instruction on how to set it up with CIVI. What should I do first?

hmm. Have not heard and dont think civi integrates with a card reader (as of yet). Not sure if this is of general interest, but if so, will make a good extension
