Question triggers more questions
May 28, 2008, 07:38:08 am
Hi,

I just started using civiEvent and really like it. We are testing it for our corporate travel department. Their requirements include being able to quickly customize the event registration page with different images/questions etc. One of their requirements is to trigger multiple questions based on a response to one question. For example:

They want to ask if the participant would like to play golf?

If the participant answers yes to the above question then they would like for more follow-up questions to appear such as 'would you like for us to arrange for shoes?' or 'what clubs would you like?'.

How can I do this?

Please advise.

Thanks !

Michał Mach

Conditional fields are not within provided set of features at the moment, and are not on nearest roadmap neither. This would need to be done through some custom code - either by writing your own module which will handle registration, but use CiviEvent as a backend or - you can try to experiment with JavaScript to conditionally show/hide some of the fields.

You can also consider putting resources into implementing this feature through community sponsored features process.

Thx,

Thank you for responding.

How do I start the community sponsored features process?

Also, I am able to add our organization logo as a custom data type to a custom profile but when I add other images, only a link to the image shows up - the actual image does not show up?
